Sterling Creek Farm is located near the South Shore of Lake Ontario in beautiful Upstate New York. We are a small farm nestled snuggly on rolling, fertile hills, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and witness to world-renowned sunsets.
Here we raise and enjoy our breed of choice, the Appaloosa. Ours is a family enterprise. Our young children help with all of the chores and handling and we have found the Appaloosa's people-loving, quiet disposition, glorious color and general hardiness to be a perfect match for us.
We have a small band of mares and although we breed only occasionally we do so selectively for disposition, intelligence, athletic ability, conformation and COLOR!
We love duns, blacks, bays and buckskins. Although our coat pattern of preference is the near-leopard we can't help but love any of the millions of variations this spotacular breed can give!
